Keen Insight into Manuscript Development:
20+ Years as an Acquisitions Editor and Book Editor
Joining Hazelden Publishing (the home of Brené Brown’s New York Times bestseller The Gifts of Imperfection) as a book editor allowed Corrine to craft books on the difficult topic of addiction. As Rebecca Post, the former Editorial Director who hired her recalls: “Corrine is the only person I have ever hired on the spot. She was great at deadlines and working on high pressure teams.”
Corrine again tackled emotionally charged issues as the managing editor for The Change Companies and as the executive editor at Gentle Path Press which focused on addiction and recovery topics. Her astute leadership on over 32 books offered guidance without guilt and facts without falsehoods.
Book Services to Meet Authors at Different Points of Their Journey
Encouraged by her own authors to hang out her shield, Corrine’s mantra is to work with entrepreneurs and experts who want to change the world. Her offerings include a Blueprint Breakthrough that adds clarity and a detailed outline to move from “I’m gonna write a book” to “I am writing a book.” She also offers Book Coaching and Developmental Editing whereby she acts as your personal trainer getting your manuscript into excellent shape to self-publish or pitch to a literary agent. Of course, ghostwriting is also an option where Corrine transforms your story idea into words.
When not book coaching or diving into the latest trends in book publishing, you’ll find Corrine outdoors—that’s her happy place. And because she comes from the Land of 10,000 Lakes, she naturally feels most at home when she’s near or in a refreshing body of water.
